			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Okay, I can talk about this from personal experience. I was an obese kid. Yep my<br />
peak was 320 in the 7th grade. Now that would make me 11-12 years old. I started<br />
school a year earlier than most.</p>
<p>I was miserable, had very low self esteem, didn&#8217;t participate in any activities, and mostly<br />
just ate and kept to myself. When I did interact with people I was the funniest person<br />
you ever met. I was the comedy for every family function and at school I was always<br />
voted class comedian.  We know that was just to cover up how sad and miserable I<br />
really was.</p>
<p>Do not let this happen to your child. Do not think it is cute to have a &#8220;husky&#8221; child. Or to<br />
have a &#8220;big&#8221; baby boy. &#8220;Yep he&#8217;s a big one, gonna play football.&#8221; No he probably is going<br />
to sit at home and eat hot dogs and cry himself to sleep while his classmates enjoy the<br />
football games and dances.</p>
<p>I remember going shopping and it was cute that I shopped in the husky department at<br />
J.C.Penny&#8217;s. Yea right. Or the time all of us got cowboy boots except me because they<br />
couldn&#8217;t go over my calves!</p>
<p>No you do not want to have a fat child. And the minute fat cells are formed they don&#8217;t<br />
disappear, and then it is a life long struggle to be fit and healthy. Please understand that<br />
we have an obesity epidemic in the U.S.A. and children are being hit hard. It is up to<br />
the parents as they are the ones who supply the food. Take action and don&#8217;t have your<br />
child become a statistic, or be one of the teens that are already diabetic!</p>
<p>If I am being a little harsh and you are feeling it&#8211;oh well&#8211; no apologies. I&#8217;ve been there<br />
and I know many there now, and I feel for them deeply.</p>
<p>So here are 5 tips to help your child from being one of the growing number of<br />
fat and unhealthy kids out there.</p>
<p>1. You eat properly. Yes mom and dad it starts with you. If you eat poorly where in the<br />
heck is your kid going to eat-at the neighbors? It starts with you and you have to go<br />
ahead and educate yourself on nutrition. Pop tarts are not a natural food group. Trust<br />
me you do not want a fat child. </p>
<p>2. Real food does not come through your window. Fast food is not real food. Fast food<br />
is Fat Food. Give me a break. Get off your rusty dusty and prepare real food. Hey you do<br />
have a stove right? Start using it. &#8220;But Randy I don&#8217;t have time to cook.&#8221; Hey you are<br />
going to have to make time to take your kid to the doctors then. And don&#8217;t use that I<br />
don&#8217;t have time excuse. You make time for what is important to you.</p>
<p>3. Sugar is not a pacifier. I get a kick out of folks who to satisfy their kid from acting up<br />
will give them a &#8220;treat.&#8221; Treat heck, more like a death sentence. I have clients who will<br />
not eat cookies (praise God) but they will give them to their kids for treats. I asked one<br />
mother who was going to bring home some candy her co-workers gave her. I asked her<br />
&#8220;Are you going to eat that?&#8221; , &#8220;Absolutely not&#8221; she replied &#8220;that is poison&#8221;. I then asked<br />
her why then did she think it was okay to poison her children. The candy ended up in<br />
my fitness center&#8217;s garbage.</p>
<p>4. Children like what they are taught to like. They are not born with a liking for McDonald&#8217;s<br />
french fries. They are not born with a craving for animal crackers. They were fed those and<br />
developed a taste and an addiction to those. So you will have to take the blame again<br />
parents. You put the best oil in your car, why would you do any less for your children?</p>
<p>5. Get yourself healthy. Period. End of story. You are the parent, you are the authority<br />
figure, you are the role model, and most of all you are the care taker. So take care of your<br />
child&#8217;s health by taking care of your own. PLEASE.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>First let me state that the families of Michael and Billy I send my<br />
prayers during your loss. This post is in no way a slight to these<br />
men and am just using them for reference as you read this post.</p>
<p>Michael, Billy, and me- all of us 50 years old, born in 1958. </p>
<p>So as I look at the demise of these men I ask why at the age of<br />
50 do some succumb to an early death and why not others such<br />
as myself.</p>
<p>Let me state that my health is remarkable. My blood pressure, my<br />
cholesterol, lipids, every test taken my Dr. remarks how &#8220;young&#8221;<br />
I am.</p>
<p>I equate this to the foods I eat and to the rigorous exercise programs<br />
I put myself through. Do I eat perfect? No. Do I eat great? Yes. Do I<br />
cheat now and then? Yes. Do I enjoy life? Yes. Am I healthy? Very.</p>
<p>If you want to live a good healthy life you will have to put forth effort<br />
and seek knowledge. You cannot buy your food at a drive thru window<br />
and expect to be a shining example of health. You have to learn what<br />
is and isn&#8217;t good for your body. Listen the major corporations out there<br />
are not in the business to make you healthy, they are in business to make<br />
money. And if that means telling you high fructose corn syrup is healthy and<br />
natural that is what they will do. And you know that is a lie. So educate<br />
yourself and eat what your body NEEDS, not what you crave at the moment.<br />
As I tell my clients, you can have some cheat food, but do not replace the<br />
good food with it, add it after you give your body the nutrients it needs. Then if<br />
you still crave something have a small serving and move on.</p>
<p>Exercise! Ah that nasty word in some of your minds. Yes you must exercise<br />
to be healthy. Run a marathon, no. Walk your dog, yes. Bench press 700 pounds,<br />
no. Weight train, most definitely. Yes I said you have to do resistance training<br />
if you want to operate at your highest level. Period, end of debate. </p>
<p>So my advise to you is if you want to be &#8220;young&#8221; at any age you need to get<br />
yourself armed with the knowledge of what to eat and how to exercise. And<br />
you have to take action!! Don&#8217;t be one of those that know everything but do<br />
nothing. </p>

<p>Well I am your fat loss expert so I am going to give you the reasons how the title of this<br />
article relates to your fat loss.</p>
<p>Dogs. Love them. Particular to pit bulls, loyal, smart, easy to train, and strong as heck.<br />
You want to get lean? Get on a program that works. Stay loyal to it. Be smart-don&#8217;t do<br />
something like eat 3 cookies a day and dinner. Be coachable, listen to an expert (like me),<br />
and do what they lay out for you. And be strong-mentally and physically. You have to be<br />
strong mentally to achieve any goal worth while. Also physically increase your strength<br />
when ever possible. By now every one KNOWS muscle burns fat, and you build muscle by<br />
increasing your strength. </p>
<p>Pasta. Listen pasta is made of flour. I don&#8217;t care if it is whole wheat, rice, or whatever. Flour<br />
is processed, flour will spike your insulin, you will become fat. Any thing else you need to know?<br />
I have so many clients who want to lose weight, hire me, pay a lot of money, and then when I<br />
them they can&#8217;t eat pasta, they start asking the &#8220;what about&#8221; questions. Hey, if it is processed<br />
don&#8217;t flippin&#8217; eat it. End of debate. Can&#8217;t do that here is your money back. If it comes in a box<br />
or a bag chances are it is processed. Don&#8217;t eat it!</p>
<p>Snakes. Started in the Garden of Eden. Flippin&#8217; snake was evil, and to this day there are many<br />
snakes out there preying on people desperate to lose their fat. Hate them, punks, and I will<br />
call them out. You are forewarned-if you are selling a bogus supplement, or promoting a<br />
diet that is stupid, or a product that you know will end up in a garage sale, I will tell people.<br />
Marketing weight loss is a billion dollar industry. Yes with a &#8220;B&#8221;. Do you think that they really<br />
care about you? No they care about what you carry in your purse or wallet. Come on, just<br />
like money, if it sounds too good to be true&#8211;run! Take the cooking spray Pam for instance.<br />
fat free right? Sure, if you use 1/3 of a second spray. WHAT? Yes a serving size is 1/3 of a<br />
second spraying. Try timing that on your watch. Soooo, do you think that Pam is an ethical<br />
product that is really concerned about you? In my humble opinion, I think they just want<br />
your money. So buyer beware. And if you hire a trainer or go to a bootcamp, for goodness<br />
sakes look at their reputation and following. Initials behind a name mean one thing&#8211;initials<br />
behind a name. </p>

those carbs are bad for you.</p>
<p>I think the fact that these man made pieces of crap are classified<br />
carbs is what causes the problem. To even compare a ding-dong<br />
to a cup of oatmeal is like comparing a flipping skateboard to a<br />
maxed out Hummer. (now that&#8217;s a ride)</p>
<p>So I feel that we need a new classification of food. We have<br />
proteins, fats, carbs, and now we need &#8220;flipping crap&#8221;. </p>
<p>So that is our new category. Yep, &#8220;flipping crap&#8221;. So if it has sugar,<br />
flour, preservatives, and more chemicals than real ingredients it will<br />
be in the new &#8220;flipping crap&#8221; category.</p>
<p>There now that should clear up the confusion on whether carbs are<br />
good or bad for you.</p>

<p>a goofy song that had a nice beat, but how it rose to</p>
<p>being a hit I don&#8217;t know.</p>
<p>Well, the same goes for processed sugar, how it became</p>
<p>such a &#8220;hit&#8221;, I don&#8217;t know. What with all the health risks</p>
<p>associated with sugar, I don&#8217;t even know how it is a legal</p>
<p>product.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t believe me here is a list of ailments and diseases sugar</p>
<p>can bring on. This list should help you make the decision to</p>
<p>stop your ingestion of this toxic crap like yesterday.</p>
